The gameplay in Insects Switch Sides is simple. In each round you’ll take part in an endless race filled with colored obstacles that take on different shapes. These can appear anywhere on the track: the walls, the middle of the road, etc. If you so much as touch any of the obstacles, you’ll lose and your adventure will come to an end.

In order to jump, you just have to tap on the screen. The longer you hold down your finger, the longer your jump will be. Be careful though, because any wrong move could mean the end for you. The race gradually increases in difficulty which means the speed and the number of obstacles will also increase, requiring the most accurate reflexes possible.
